How to wind a joint

1. Preparation
   
   

   Open the skew original rolling papers and remove the ① clutch and ② paper. We also recommend placing your herbs and tobacco on a table or tray at this point, as this will make it easier to adjust the amount of herb during the rolling process.

2. Make a clutch
   
   A clutch is a substitute for a paper cigarette filter. After folding the clutch in a zigzag pattern along the dotted line engraved on it, you roll it up. If you can roll it neatly so that the cross section forms an M shape, as shown in the image, you can enjoy the herb without it getting into your mouth when you inhale. On the other hand, if there are many gaps in the cross section, the herb will also get into your mouth when you inhale the smoke, so be careful. If you can't make an M shape properly, you can increase the number of zigzag folds to fill in the gaps in the cross section.

3. Place the herbs on the paper
   
   Fix the clutch so that the glue edge of the paper (the shiny part on one of the long sides of the paper) is at the back, and place the herbs on top of the paper. When doing this, make sure to place the herbs inside the valley fold lines that are already on the paper. It will be easier to roll if you remember to place the herbs slightly in front of the bottom of the valley fold.
   

4. Roll
   
   

   Adjust the amount of herb and the overall shape as you fold the paper from the front to the back. If there is too much herb on the side closest to the nozzle (the clutch side), it will be difficult to roll, so if you put in a lot of herb, try to move the herb to the side farthest from the nozzle (the side that will be ignited) to get a good roll.

5. Completed
   
   

   Before wrapping it all, wet the adhesive with a small amount of water, wrap the paper around it, and then shape it to complete the piece. When wetting the adhesive, it is common to lick it like a stamp before sticking it on.
